Often the interface between the floor of a warehouse and a door is the source of water penetration. Rain will run vertically down the face of a door and then be driven by the wind into a garage.

Left unchecked water intrusion may degrade packaging, materials, furniture and equipment. Surface water is also a potential slip hazard. To combat this problem a threshold seal may be fitted to a garage floor. Alternatively, if a "T-bar" runs the length of the underside of a roller shutter garage door then a theft proof, durable, thermoplastic, wrap-around seal may be the solution. In fact, a threshold seal may be fitted in conjunction with a "wrap-around" seal. The bottom of the seal has six small fins which help to create a watertight seal preventing, rain, leaves, dust and debris from being blown under the door.
